Leadership

Daryl is part of the regular preaching rotation. His passion is to help the church know Jesus in a deeper way and grow in their hearts of worship. He loves spending time with his lovely wife Susan and their three boys, Tyson, Brendan and Grant. When he’s not at Costco trying to keep the fridge stocked, he enjoys spending time with family, watching his boys play sports, fishing and taking road trips.

Mark is advancing the gospel through missions. He enjoys spending time with his awesome wife Lyndsey and their crazy kids, whether traveling to Hawaii (and other fun spots) or just playing board games at home. His hobbies include golf, surfing, and other activities with friends. His life’s dream is to love God and to help others become humble, loving worshippers of Jesus Christ both locally & globally.

Martin has a heart for shaping the next generation of believers to live for the kingdom of God. He enjoys watching and playing sports, consuming books, and crafting stories with his free time. He is particularly drawn to themes of redemption and finding beauty in the broken. He and his beautiful wife Christy enjoy spending time with their two kids, Micah & Carissa.

Christy is passionate about partnering with parents to lay a Gospel foundation in children's lives during their formative years. Having spent most of her academic and professional life in the field of education, Christy has witnessed the impact of great mentors.  She holds a Bachelor's degree from UCLA in Sociology and Spanish, along with a Master’s and Ph.D. in Education from UCR.

David has been given a conviction to preach and teach the gospel so that others may worship Christ in spirit and truth. He yearns to grow in understanding on what it means to care, feed, and love God’s flock. He is married to his best friend, Chelsea, and together they love being with their children Hope, Stephen, and Thomas. David’s hobbies include exercising, cooking new recipes with his family, and walking around Home Depot staring at tools he doesn’t know how to use.

Heidi was called to serve in women’s ministry two years ago, and has enjoyed seeing women connecting and growing spiritually through fellowship. She also teaches children’s choir at EVCC on Sunday, loves sharing the gospel with children, and teaching her students. Apart from work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She loves reading good books, ice skating, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, and watching CSI.

Marcy is the head of the Ohana & Belonging team. Ohana is a ministry very dear to her heart, as that is how her family was introduced to Lifesong Church (around 15 years ago). Marcy loves serving along Ohana team and seeing the village of volunteers that bring fellowship and community to our church. Although she is not currently working, a majority of her time is spent caring for her mother. Marcy enjoys exercising, hiking and taking care of her new puppy (Tobi).

Will works with the worship team and young adult ministry. His passion is for developing servants' hearts and minds for ministry, fostering a deep and profound passion for Christ, and actualizing servants' abilities to be fully utilized for God's kingdom and the gospel. His hobbies include music production, creative writing, computer-y stuff, cold brew coffee, and of course, sleep. He lives in Claremont in the loudest room with the hardest working speakers in the world.

Joe was called to serve our church and our Wildfire youth ministry.  He loves helping the youths deepen their foundation and guiding them as they prepare for college.  He is married to Linda, his constant support.  Along with their daughter Danielle, they love to play board games and spend time outdoors.  If he had free time he would probably be cutting wood or riding his mountain bike

Andrew serves as Elder and Treasurer and loves taking part in church development and growth in all areas that God calls for. Professionally, he serves as a C-level executive bank officer at a local community bank. He holds a Bachelor's in Accounting from Cal State University of Long Beach and an MBA from Cal Baptist University in Riverside. He is married to his lovely wife Mei and together they have three wonderful children: Dylan, Jacob, and Emily. Andrew enjoys all things involving Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Chargers football.

Bethany supports the Lifesong staff with media coordination, administrative responsibilities, and Greenhouse leadership. She is passionate about sharing the unconditional love of Christ through advocacy for others and action, with a heart for food insecurity and mental health. Bethany holds a B.A. in International Studies from PLNU and a MPH from Biola University. Her hobbies include volleyball, photography, and cooking.
