In August 2005, Hurricane Katrina unleashed devastation on the Gulf coasts of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida. While the hurricane ended seven years ago, the recovery work is projected to continue in the Louisiana Gulf Coast area for many more years to come. Thousands of homes and businesses were destroyed and thousands of people were left homeless.

For the fifth year in a row, we are sending a team to the Katrina disaster area in New Orleans to partner with TouchGlobal EFCA (Evangelical Free Churches of America). The team will be in New Orleans to partner with EFCA churches in the rebuilding efforts but will also have the opportunity to minister to people's spiritual and physical needs as they arise.

Our Youth team returned from New Orleans! Here is their blog.
